This is something I was thinking a lot about recently. Yes City have big $, but they’re systematic with refreshing the squad. Zero sentiment. KDB & Ederson barely got send offs. New players in quickly. No toxicity from fans saying “he hates Pep”. I much prefer our club’s heritage etc but we’re way too sentimental with players. Cycles start & finish. Don’t dwell on it. Focus on the future. #LFC
