Bots are a big part of why NFTs aren’t the same anymore. 4 years ago, I was sitting in front of my PC for 10 hours a day with multiple monitors, tracking everything in real time. One day, the exact same scenario happened to me: Someone fat-fingered a collection offer. I saw it, bought an NFT off the floor, and instantly dumped it into the bid. Made $10k within seconds. The difference? I did it all manually. Today a bot would execute that in milliseconds. I don’t blame bots, quite the opposite. But this tweet just gave me flashbacks to how fun it was when you could actually trade NFTs.
