No such reciprocal trips were granted to the Americans. All of this on the American tax payer’s dime. All of this against the general protest of American citizens and industry leaders. All because FDR and his top advisers inexplicably loved Stalin. A man who had invaded as many sovereign countries as Hitler and had committed more public atrocities at the time lease lend began.
