@FischerMackey @PeteUK7 Do you mean the actual pluslife-app? I'm using the virus.sucks website. When trying to install the app I only got chinese characters without the option to change the language. Would be interested in how to get the app to work.

I'm considering getting a PlusLife. Has anyone got one that can share any insight into how good or bad it is? Any downsides to be mindful of? It's obviously quite costly but if it works, it might be worth the outlay I guess. pluslife.com

@PeteUK7 Definitely use the App for much faster (tentative) results. Completely worth the start-up costs. Buy extra legit swabs at same time for pooling

@plumskyjam @PeteUK7 I don’t know exactly— but they are different in texture. The VirusSucks blog explains it I believe. From what I remember it probably reduces the accuracy of test, not that other swabs don’t work at all.

Clinicians, if you see a patient wearing a mask - just put yours on too. Don’t ask us if that’s what we want. Don’t ask if we are unwell. Don’t make it so obvious that you don’t understand infection control. You work in a hospital. Pretend you get it, and put it on.

Kid stayed home today and learned that today they made all the kids mask and will keep it up for 10 days post exposure, as per LAUSD protocols. So that’s good! By mon I’d think infected folks will show symptoms and hopefully stay home, and the rest will be masked! That works!

My kid started school Tues in LA. Weds learned 1 kid was C+. They were all maskless in a room w him for 4 hours. Just learned 3 more are sick. No one but my kid masks so looks like they’re all getting sick. I’m keeping her home Fri. She’s C- w PlusLife. This sux/makes sense
