This week this government voted to pass the cruellest part of the#AntiRefugeeBill, but people across the country are united against it. Today, we must stand #TogetherWithRefugees.

Today is Human Rights Day. & yet we face an imminent threat of the govt undermining the vital protections and safeguards of the Human Rights Act. Now more than ever, we need to stand up for the rights of survivors of torture, people seeking asylum, & the rights of all people.

For the first time ever, we are threatening to file suit against the government as a claimant in our own right. Such is the gravity of this lethal pushback policy for survivors of torture and others in the Channel. theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/n…
