@audreythemental @MadelaineLucyH @trippinreadyy @Incelesque That's a reason though. That isn't "I'm not feeling it". Literally every reason a guy would have to say no comes with a concrete explanation "You're not my type" "You're all drama and I want peace" "You don't want kids but I do" Men have reasons, not feels

Ok let’s explore the “She Rejected Me Because I’m Nice” myth. This is Janine, you work with her. She’s fine: a solid fine. Not unbelievably pretty, not hideous, just fine. Could easily work at any Walmart. Janine is nice to you. You’re nice to Janine, because you have no reason not to be. Why would you be horrible? You joke around, make small talk at the office printer. You don’t fancy her and it never crossed your mind. One day, Janine asks if you want to get coffee at lunch. You say yes, because she’s never shown any romantic interest in you and it’s not that kind of bond. At the cafe, Janine looks at you and strokes your hand and goes “I really see this going somewhere, like forever.” You aren’t feeling it. She gets upset and accuses you of only liking bad girls. Have you rejected Janine because she’s “too nice?”

@MadelaineLucyH @trippinreadyy @Incelesque The whole scenario ignores male behavior. In 99% of scenarios, it doesn't matter if the guy 'feels it's, she initiated, he'd say yes. It might not work out, but he'd give it a shot You just don't understand guys 🤷‍♂️

Muslim: Why do you trust the Bible? Men wrote it, Jesus didn’t, so it’s unreliable. Me: Okay… then who wrote the Quran? Muslim: God. It’s the word of God. Me: Who physically wrote it? Muslim: Didn’t I say it’s the word of God? Are you blind? Me: So God literally wrote it? Muslim: You’re using a Bible Jesus didn’t write! Me: Or did God just drop the Quran from heaven? Muslim: No, it was revealed to Muhammad, he wrote it down. Unlike your Bible, humans didn’t write it… Me: Wait, Muhammad was human, right? Muslim: Yes… are you serious? Me: So a human wrote the Quran? Muslim: No! Not like your Bible… Me: Did Muhammad write the Quran or not? Muslim: He received direct revelation from Allah and wrote down what he heard. Me: Uh… so a human wrote it… oh right, he couldn’t even read or write, so someone must have helped him, and humans make mistakes… Muslim: You’re hopeless… I’m done wasting my time. Me: So… the Quran was written by humans? He blocked me. 😭😭

Aspic is a savory meat jelly made by simmering collagen-rich bones, skin, and cartilage into a stock that sets into a clear or amber gel when chilled—basically unflavored meat gelatin. It shows up in deli meats (hams, pâtés, head cheese, terrines) as a glaze or binder for shine, moisture retention, air/bacteria sealing, and decorative presentation in traditional recipes. That see-through turkey slice looks like excess collagen doing the same thing.

This turkey has people doing a double take. A shopper in Texas showed a see-through, “3D printed” looking turkey from HEB. The store says it “may” be collagen and wants it tested.

@BrandonStraka That's just because people want convenience AND a small price tag still. That's not a thing anymore Can still make hamburger helper for $6. You just have to get the ingredients separately and make it from scratch

An American wanted a quick, cheap dinner and went to Walmart for Hamburger Helper. “It now cost $18 just to make some Hamburger Helper.” In 2016, that same meal was about $6. Prices are out of control.

@MentisWave Working in fast food is unskilled labor, but not all cooks are. I think the biggest problem is the lack of nuance in any leftist argument. An average McDonald's cook wouldn't survive cooking in a steakhouse, which is still well below the skill required for Michelin star kitchens

Honestly I'm surprised that this kind of argument from leftists doesn't immediately expose them as functionally retarded. And I do not mean that as an insult. The very act of seriously saying this should unironically qualify someone to be medically evaluated for profound intellectual disability. Unskilled labor is simply the label for labor that any able bodied adult can do without training, which is why the market price is low. The supply is high because anyone can do it, therefore it doesn't sell for much on the market. Risk also tends to be low. If burger flipping paid $300 an hour there would be lines out the McDonald's door with hundreds of people begging to do it. Treating the label "Unskilled Labor" itself as some sort of "Myth" to "Justify low wages" is to imply that the very concepts of supply and demand in vocational incentives, concepts that are based on extremely basic mathematical reasoning, are some kind of conspiracy theory. They might as well be claiming that 1+1=5, and claims to the contrary are just bourgeoisieboogiewoogie gaslighting to justify not magically producing more stuff whenever two things are combined. This is Orc-tier reasoning. It's even stupider than asking "Why don't they just print infinite money?". Which is quite stupid, but in that case it merely demonstrates a lack of understanding of scarcity. A child who has yet to learn how the world works can still technically ask that question and not be instantly considered intellectually challenged. But no reasonable person can seriously claim high-supply labor is trapped in some kind of conspiracy to justify being paid less. This demonstrates not only a lack of understanding of scarcity, but also a lack of understanding of human action, incentive, desire, and reason. If you see a person making this comics argument, their right to have any opinion on economics is forever in dispute.

The Sun is the limit. Even if there were another source that could compare in abundance, we still couldn't use more energy than we get from the Sun. The limit is not how much energy we can get, but how much energy Earth can get rid of (via radiation). We can use other energy sources, but every joule of heat we generate has to be balanced by a joule of sunlight we reject. We can either harness the power of the Sun, or reject it.

@WarClandestine Is this really about unbrainwashing people, or is it more about how we communicate these complex issues? Instead of focusing solely on the challenge of changing minds, what if we looked at why so many are resistant to these ideas in the first place?

I’ve said it many times and you’re going to hear me say it a lot more: Indicting/arresting people is the easy part. Unbrainwashing hundreds of millions of people and getting them to understand why we have to arrest high-ranking officials/figures… THAT’S the hard part.
