@WigglesDTuff If I had to guess the change likely had more to do with matching lip flaps and still making the line sound natural than it did intentionally removing the reference to the sea. Either way, this sub vs dub stuff is really all down to preference.

@FunkyBunko It's not... THAT deep though, none of one piece really is - it just is pretty baked into her character from the backstory you see at that point and what was promised to her and I think that's a fair thing to point out as a bad choice that didn't need to change in a larger project

@WigglesDTuff It doesn’t change enough to really alter the meaning in my opinion. If you find some deeper symbolism or meaning behind specifically mentioning the sea then that’s perfectly fine and I get not liking the dub for that, but I personally don’t mind it.

@FunkyBunko The mention of the sea or ocean or body of water is not at all present in the dub and was indeed changed from "take me to SEA with you" to "take me away from here" that's a pretty significant change in meaning. Like yes the surface level is the same but that's... The problem

@freakycaliphate @Naps__96 @BronzeSaintClem I mean, I’ll take Kikuchi over either any day but I don’t think either of them are bad. Both have issues with placement (Faulconer never shutting up and Yamamoto spamming reused tracks) but musically I quite like both of them for the most part.
