I still really dislike the Big Bang Theory as whole. Some good episodes and scenes that I enjoy, but overall not a fan. This plot is so bonkers; I’m gonna have to at least give it a few episodes.

@gijoeguy84 My original point was that GI JOE would only serve US interests as directed by the White House. If it were a more realistic interpretation. Military personnel have no choice in following lawful orders. You enforce White House decisions, no matter who's POTUS.

@gijoeguy84 As a veteran our oath is to the USA and Constitution of the United States of America and to obey the lawful orders of the officers and President of the USA. Meaning US interests, not foreign ones. Hawk picks the best but loyalty will always be to the US interests.

I have this long standing theory about G.I. Joe: Hawk is the reason G.I. Joe is a true force for good & not just another military unit that only serves the USA’s interests. Every Joe is chosen, not as the best in their individual field, but the goodness of their character.

EXACTLY the issue where I came to my conclusion of how I articulated it. THAT issue..like shakedown on crack, spelled it out right to you..the way the Joe's/cobra treated the ground crew..it was the moral compass that won the day, from the heart of each Joe. The Cobras technically should have won that fight, but the arrogance showed poor decisions leading to failure, and loss of units. GOING BY MEMORY- I believe the cobra pilot that ejected was left by the recovery crew because he was such as an, whereas I believe the panel shows a Joe being recovered, and expressing gratitude. That issue shown the dichotomy of the core values or the Joe's, now if that is "SELECTED" by hawk, as you suggest, than adds to HAWKs character, not the team. If you say "being the best, of the best makes you into the character that a Joe is" that adds to each member's moral compass. And with THAT, you can directly inverse that mentality to the Cobra forces. Yes they have good equipment and troops, but they praise themselves on getting the "worst of the worst"...well...WITH THAT, come that moral compass, that will loose to GIJOE Everytime. -Dave

@G_I_DAVE @gijoeguy84 The Stratoviper couldn't get out of the cockpit due to the missing breakout tool and drowned as the Night Raven sank. His arrogance from stepping on the crew chief's head cost him his life as the COBRA CSAR watched the aircraft slip under the waters.

@G_I_DAVE @gijoeguy84 The Stratoviper crashed after Slipstream shot him down. Ace was downed earlier while Slipstream had to restart his engines. Stratoviper treated his crew chief like trash, so the chief removed a breakout tool from the Night Raven .
