@JerryMoloney1 Very same here, we got a simple plastic jfc bin holds the ton of lime no problem, it's even left outside and lime doesn't get damp. I dono would a gravity flow bin work with lime. Id say it would cake at the bottom??

Anyone have or know where I can get a circa 1 tonne bin to hold cubicle lime /sawdust for cubicle s ….bags are pain in the hole and I met a rat in the bag when filling my barrow this morning 😲

@Michaelfagwrfra That's good to now, I was told PTO geni were not consistent enough power and would cause problems running vms. Good to know it's still an option.

@GDug11 Yep, power is back now, but yes, 3 vms, milk cooling, lights, scrapers, the whole lot running on a 33KVA pto geni, and a Claas Arion purring away at 430rpm in eco mode.

2nd night with no mains power, tractor and geni been running 30hrs non stop so far, going be another sleepless night of supervision. Great experience for the kids though, no screens, no tv. Lol. Cawl cooking on the log burner 😋

Just left the FTMT in the punchestown event centre. I super day, no traffic, park at the door. Heated marquees with all top machinery manufacturers on display. Not EP for teenagers. Would rate it well ahead of the ploughing. Well done @FTMTA_ @Fendt_UKIreland @JohnDeere

@grazyfarmer Yes I agree about background stuff, I like them for comfort. I see there is a new model out now with a mic wand on them. Pity peak volume is so low, I'm using them in a new Gen6 fendt so it's by no means a loud cab either. If you could try a pair first...

@GDug11 Ya they are not wonderful with background noise. Kinda disigned so you can hear the background stuff i guess.

@saloreilly We have had them the last two years. Burner phone in pouch, or a student can simply say I don't have a phone to put into pouch. You can't search his/her pockets... 9 million euro wasted unnecessarily 😒

Anyone know how many river gauges we could get for €9 million instead of pouches for students to put their old fake second phone in?

Anyone have good recommendations for cubicle lime spreaders, have been using a vink up till now but must upgrade, for around 150 cubicles ideally that can use lime or saw dust. And don't need one of the ride on 1s I think #teamdairy
