Eventually the SA Liberals are going to realise how catastrophic Ashton Hurn’s decision to preference One Nation was. Someone surely will eventually ask “would Liberals rather be facing Labor or ON in these regional seats in 2030?”
But with all the celebrations Ms Hurn suggested they probably haven’t had time to contemplate how catastrophic that decision was.

@Michaeldudufudu I’m so glad to see that this post got ratioed. The true ugliness is the question of course, not art.

@lady_valor_07 Attractive, wholesome (untattooed, unpierced, non-obese) ladies, who I'd have been happy to introduce to my parents and proudly show off to my friends.
My pick is the one in the white sweater.

@ohhanxiety Yes. And I would gently point out that irregardless is a double negative that means the opposite of regardless.

@109stitches @dailybritainonx Not just about president and politics. The preparation has been awful. Airports, the Iran vs Egypt game, ICE, ticketing. The whole thing is a mess.
English

@dailybritainonx Why? Because you don't like our president or politics? They only people it will hurt is the businesses in any of the World Cup sites and the city of Los Angeles. The government won't give a shit. Other than the business's getting hurt neither do I.
English

@dailybritainonx Yes. The airports aren’t equipped to deal with the fan influx; the security isn’t up to standard; fans will be accidentally arrested and jailed by ICE. The whole thing is a mess. FIFA has totally f*^cked this one.

@DavidFetteroll @cleans_letsrun @AthleticsWeekly @WorldAthletics This has nothing to do with Kenya as a nation. Why aren’t you calling for an India ban? I know why - because despite them also having north of 100 positives the athletes aren’t winning.
Kenyans are being used and abused by Dutch and Italian managers. Time to ban the managers.
English

@cleans_letsrun Time for national ban
@AthleticsWeekly
@WorldAthletics needs to act.
Resignations are necessary because no deterrent is working, no leadership is being set.
English

Albert Korir is managed by Volare Sports.
10 years ago, they were banned from working with Kenyan athletes over doping concerns.
Volare athletes Diana Chepkorir and Sheila Chelangat were both suspended last year on blood doping charges.

@cleans_letsrun The managers are the issue. They chew up and spit out runners monthly
English

@scullion262 you can see that doping numbers are actually a tally of athletes who are too poor to buy their way to a doping team or doping doctor who understands biopassports, microdosing and the many expensive new drugs that have no testing protocols.
English

@scullion262 No one says India is a state sponsor of drugs because Indians don’t win anything. But it’s the same set up. Athletes want cash. Drugs are easy to buy. Athletes self administer/ get dosages wrong/ get caught.
Compare this to the highly professional world of cycling in Spain and
English

Sorry - at what point does a country get banned for this behaviour?
Athletics Integrity Unit@aiu_athletics
The AIU has banned Albert Korir (Kenya) for 5 years from 8 January 2026 for Presence/Use of a Prohibited Substance (CERA). DQ results from 3 October 2025 Details here: bit.ly/Albert-Korir-D…
English

@ed_gaa @scullion262 That’s rubbish. The athletes have different managers, different teams, some are based in the Netherlands, some in Germany, a few in Italy.
The reason so many get caught is because they’re shit at it. And the reason they’re shit at it is because they self administer
English

@scullion262 Well it’s state sponsored doping Stephen, unfortunately to my knowledge they can’t do it until that’s confirmed. The general basis is that it’s just scattered doping in Kenya, not one organization doing the work.
English

@bobjcarr will you be making an announcement on Adelaide Writers’ Week soon?
