Not knocking down Zeus but, defenses don't fear him like that he's unproven to this point. Now if any of the other guys step up and run for 1k yards I'll be quiet.

@J_R_05_19 Yes they'll be taking calls to try to get an unofficial deal in place before February 15th. If they don't have a deal by then (when $40M guarantees), they'll almost certainly release him.
It's an advantage for Carr, as he'll be free to sign with a new team immediately.

Derek Carr's $32.9M salary for 2023 + $7.5M of his 2024 salary are guaranteed for injury right now.
They become fully guaranteed February 15th.
