Obviously the Dolphins have made the necessary move(s) to gain cap compliancy - we just don't yet know what that is. But the snapshot post-Waddle puts them in the hole.

@Joe_Morrison1 There's about $17.5M of dead cap sitting in 2027 right now (as much as $18.2M if the incentives vest). But the contract contains language that will allow the Eagles to process that void as a Post 6/1 move this time around. So it will be a much cleaner process.

Dallas Goedert's 1-yr $7M guaranteed contract is peak #Eagles. The deal includes: A min. $1.3M salary A $4.25M signing bonus A $1.45M roster bonus, treated as a signing bonus $1M of LTBE incentives, $955k of which are treated as a signing bonus. And of course, 4 void years.

Profar wil forfeit his $15M salary for the upcoming season, after losing over $5.1M from his 80-game suspension in 2025.

@mikef415_ $3M of salary was guaranteed and a $2M roster bonus vested last week, so this was a bit of a give and take in that regard.

WR Calvin Ridley accepted an $8.75M pay cut with the #Titans. The 31-year-old is now set to earn $13M in 2026, $12.5M of which is fully guaranteed. Tennessee freed up $11.25M of 2026 cap space per the move.

Per reports, the WNBA & players have reached agreement on a new CBA that will increase the average player compensation to over $500,000. Salaries last season carried an average of around $107,000 according to our data.

One unresolved NFL offseason situation is the pending divorce of WR Brandon Aiyuk & the #49ers. If SF believes they can secure even a late-round 2027 draft pick for the 28-year-old, hanging onto him into June makes better financial sense. A Post 6/1 trade splits their dead cap allocations at: 2026: $13.3M 2027: $21.2M It's a loss of $20M if they release or trade him before 6/1.

Some RFA action: The #Vikings have signed #Bills RFA T Ryan Van Demark to an offer sheet, per me and @TomPelissero. Buffalo has five days to match. As a former UDFA, this was the original round tender ($3.52M), which gives BUF right to match any deal but no draft compensation.
