@GuildfordBeat my wrists are still bruised from excessive force via handcuffs in a&e last Wednesday. Officer shouted at me " it hurts because you keep moving ".I was in a&e because I'm suicidal.

A nearby residential property has been evacuated as a precaution, but there are no known casualties at this time. Road closures are in place on Oak Hill and we ask the public to avoid the area while the emergency services respond.

Surrey Police was contacted at around 21:30 this evening with reports of a fire at an industrial building in Wood Street Village, Guildford. Surrey Fire and Rescue Service is responding, with six units being dispatched to attend.

Officers were out all day in the sunshine on foot patrol in Guildford Town Centre on Sunday engaging with members of the public and dealing with any anti-social behaviour/criminal offences. It was lovely to speak to so many of you and see you enjoying your day! 😄
