@Brett_Jensen Actually we want the SSARS app that is free from Sandy Hook Promise. Our previous superintendent opted out of using it 2 years ago 🤯

Many schools in CMS wants to use the “Say Something” app in the “See Something, Say Something” that Wake Co. has used for quite a while, yet CMS hasn’t approved use of the app and allow it. Cabarrus Co also uses it. It allows students to reports weapons anonymously. It’s free

Note that the state requires districts making this move to reopen opportunities for students to move into or out of Full Remote Academy.

Confirmed: CMS board will vote Tues on a 4-day-a-week Plan A for middle and high schools.

@anndosshelms @CMSSupt No clusters of cases for swimmers/divers, they placed a mask on as soon as they got out of the water. CMS is the only district that will not be participating in regionals and states. Disappointing

K-5 students would start back Nov. 2, 6-8 students Nov. 23 and high school students start in-person classes on Jan. 5 with second semester.
