@HackneyEars Yes of course! You can mention I'm Hackney-born and I lived there for the best part of 3 decades. Also I went to Golden Dragon loads & got the curry chips as a Stoke Newington school pupil. I no longer live in Hackney btw. Don't know if that is helpful for the piece but yeah lol

Have always loved this chubby pig and his three cat friends in Golden Dragon (a fish and chip shop in stoke newington which does THE best chips and curry sauce u'll ever taste)

Pronto Pizza at 156 Stoke Newington Church Street has been gutted. Refurb or has it closed? It opened 30 years ago.

But, we're looking to do nostalgia features looking at places like Pronto with history in the borough, pubs, cafes ect whether they have closed or remain open. If you know of any good spots do let me know!
