An application has been submitted for a new @LidlGB store to replace the Jet petrol station on Lower Clapton Road. This is great news which will bring more footfall to the high-street, but the proposal is underdevelopment and should have multiple floors of housing above.

Apparently another application has been submitted for the adjacent site. (The Moth Club has launched a petition opposing the proposals which already has almost 5,500 signatures!)
