I don’t get how a ₹590Cr fraud is being called “manageable” when the stock is down ~16% in a day. IDFC First Bank has reported a suspected ₹590Cr fraud at its Chandigarh branch, linked to Haryana government accounts. 
Management says it’s ~1% of net worth, but street estimates put the hit at nearly 22–28% of FY26 PAT. 
The stock has slipped from a 52‑week high of ₹87 to around ₹70, wiping out roughly ₹11,000–₹12,000Cr in market cap.
