Spent some time with UniFFI this weekend. Experimenting with it for SlateDB's official bindings. It seems really nice! Anyone out there using it? If so, what has your experience been?

@codewithsimon @supabase @AshwiniVaishnaw Only if you are using either a VPN or google (8.8.8.8) or cloudflare DNS service (1.1.1.1) or some similar setup. The ISP DNS servers resolve the *.supabase.co domains to a blackhole IP not controlled by Supabase. Non tech users won't know how to do that.

@segueofabricio @dshukertjr @segueofabricio did you try to reduce the frequency of the sync from the Cron integration page? The name of the job is stripe-sync-worker. We will make this more discoverable but in the meanwhile does this work?

@dshukertjr love the Stripe Sync integration on Supabase I can get payments up and running in 5 minutes, it's amazing.
But here's the plot twist: the stripe-sync-worker runs every 1 minute syncing 17 objects, and since December it's racked up 367k calls, 839 minutes (14 hours!) of CPU time, and 3.6 billion disk blocks 💀
My Micro instance is hitting Disk IO limits because of it. Any plans to make the sync interval configurable? Would love to keep using it without melting my disk lol

In case you are running into this. JioFiber has configured their DNS to resolve *.supabase.co to IP addresses that do not belong to us. We have reached out to Jio to get this fixed.

If you’re using JioFiber in India you may need to use a VPN to connect to Supabase, or switch your DNS to 1.1.1.1. Supabase infrastructure remains fully operational - the issue appears to be an ISP-level block. We have reached out to Jio.
