@OrkneyLibrary I wonder if ours are related?

Today is also #NationalHedgehogDay. The most common variety of hedgehog found at Orkney Library & Archive is the Old Book Hedgehog, often found sitting up on high shelves keeping a close eye on the library. 📚🦔

Due to the national lock down, we have had to pause visits for prospective parents to the school and hope to restart them in December. Until then, to give you an small insight to what we can offer your child we have a video tour for you here:- st-peters.wilts.sch.uk/admissions

Our mufti day has raised £149.40, well done everyone. Mrs. Fell made special Pudsey biscuits for the children who have a school dinner, thank you Mrs. Fell.

Year 2 have been learning the story “it’s a no money day” using the talk for writing model. The book teaches about families that may need to use a food bank. Year 2 will be organising and promoting our harvest collection this year, all food collected will go to a local food bank.

Never a dull day at Ridgeway! We noticed a tree being cut down in the local area, and we need logs for our forestry area... 3 coffees later and some very happy teachers! Thank you #wrcwessexruralcrafts

Woop woop! We had radishes for snack today and Miss Smiles was so impressed with all the children that tried it for the first time... 🤗

Miss Oakes has been very busy today (in the rain) at her Forest School training! She had to cook a 3 course meal today!!
