I found out none of my photos won wildlife photo of the year, but it was fun to participate! The 3rd photo of the Brown Bear Cubs riding their moms back did receive an honorable mention in the “water as an element” category of the Pangolin photo challenge though 😃

I went to see Milo, and the doctor told me about the blood work that was done today to see her organ functions. Her kidney numbers got even worse since last week. She lost a lot of weight. Doc suggested euthanasia to prevent further suffering. I was told she may even pass before the day we have to put her down. I was able to feed her, and she recognized me. I saw a little tail wagging. I have to do what is right for her and put her needs before me. This is one of the hardest decisions I will ever have to make. I adore Milo from the tip of her nose to the end of her tail. I can not imagine not holding her again and hugging her. I can not imagine not seeing her. I feel like someone hit me with something in the head. I am heartbroken for my baby girl.😥😭

As you all know I started on Good Friday to make some white chocolate carrot cake mice and chocolate mousse filled chocolate flower pots with “ carrots” 🥕 TA DAH …. Here is my little Easter plate I did for Easter Sunday … Those naughty bunnies have been in the farmers carrot patch … And are having a great feast .. I think it turned out quite lovely.. don’t you ..??

I have some good news. Something lovely happened today. I became a Grandad for the first time to my beautiful Granddaughter Sophia Rose. Both my daughter and baby Sophia are doing well and to say I’m chuffed is an understatement. ☺️

This one might be the finalist. She’s a fluffy little girl—fluffier than her siblings. Won’t come home until May. They said she likes human interaction and to be pet, but she doesn’t bark and yip as much of the others. We are down to 2 names, unless we come up with others. “Babushka” and “Babs” for short. Or “Moose” or “Moosie.” Our last dog of this breed was “Nanny” loosely based off of Nana from Peter Pan.

Milo is still on the drip. She does not eat, and it's day 5. The doctor told me her kidney levels should go under 4 (the normal is 1.4) for her to have a fighting chance. Hers, is it 6.6 now😪. I may be forced to have to make a difficult decision next week. I just don't want her to suffer in pain. She ate 5 little Vienna sausages from my hand but nothing more. I took her out to pee, she is weak and visibly uncomfortable in a strange environment with other noisy dogs around. I'm heartbroken for her. I'm worn and stressed bc at this point, I can not do anything to make things better for her. 💔😥
