@GarrusVNBadger In many languages "to be wise" and "to have good taste" are similar root verbs and often the exact same verb. There's a reason for that.

Trump literally got everything he wanted. The deal isnt signed yet, but it will literally rewrite the treaty. 1951 defense will change so the US can do what ever it wants on its bases without Danish input. (We wanted missiles to counter Russia and China but yall said it would provoke russia) It also allows the us to expand its bases how ever it wants without approval. US bases will now be sovereign as US only control with no Danish VETO power. The most important part is Denmark wont allow non NATO nations to drill for resources. China owned huge shares in the operations there. Established a new official artic mission for NATO. I am not being anti Denmark at all, but you have to disregard normal european "deals" and think like a scumbag new yorker. However, this isnt set in stone yet and denmark can pull out at anytime right now. But, this allows the Danes an easy way out. They tell their citizens "we beat trump" and none of yall will ever investigate the rest. But to say trump lost because nothing is official is just as incorrect as saying trump won by MAGA folk.
