@ShadowPatriotUS @Notwokenow If they're too dangerous don't let them out, if they've genuinely reformed, there's no reason they shouldn't be allowed to own a fire arm and have their second amendment rights restored sometime after they've been released.

Yes, felons and people convicted or arrested for stalking and domestic violence should lose gun rights. That part of the law makes sense and has broad support because those are real crimes against other people. The problem comes when anyone tries lumping habitual marijuana users into that same bucket. -- Felony status comes from a conviction for serious offenses. -- Marijuana remains a federal controlled substance on paper, yet a majority of Americans now accept it for recreational use and it is legal in most states. Why treat a widely accepted personal choice the same as a violent criminal conviction? How many responsible adults use marijuana in their own state without ever harming anyone? This false comparison is how the list keeps growing. We can keep guns away from actual violent offenders and felons without turning every habit or prescription into a disqualifier. The Constitution draws lines at real criminal behavior, not at what millions of law abiding Americans do in their own homes. Stand on that distinction. 🔥🇺🇸

SCOTUS ruled that habitual marijuana usage alone isn’t legal justification to strip someone of their 2nd Amendment rights. Do you think they made the right decision? Should habitual drug users be stripped of their 2A rights?

@W3ND1G0x And if you choose to let them out, with the expectation they will just commit another crime anyways, you've just admitted that the prohibition of gun ownership for felons is a failed law.

@beinlibertarian More theater. Trying to make Vance look like there is strife. It's bullshit for the mid-terms. They will hug and warmonger together soon enough.
