Based on X logs and new information I have reason to believe that the person I delegated access to my X account a while back created a hidden developer app in the X Developer Portal while they had temporary access. They got permanent permission (OAuth tokens) to post on my behalf. Even after I removed their official delegate access, this secret app kept working as a backdoor (changing my passwords and enabling 2FA wouldn't have stopped them) Thanks to someone reaching out to inform me of these backdoors, I just discovered it and deleted the app on the back end.
