Does anyone else have boomer parents who seem to eat like nothing?? Who just skip meals like it's nothing? Meanwhile their 35 year old son wilts if he goes more than like 3 hours without nutrition.
They'll be like "oh I'm fine until dinner I had some nuts at 11am" .... ???

My response was, "...That I was the college mascot?!"
They said, "nooooo but I think you know what it is..."
and then they tell me they met a trans guy one time at this one place & he was trans & he was doing a thing but it was so interesting because he was a guy who was trans.

I've hit the point where my awkward conversations are mostly someone meeting me at my gym & then some time later find out I'm trans & insist on telling me, loudly & in front of others, "I googled you & found out some things about you that were surprising & I didn't know...👀!!!!"

Reviewing the emergency rule the Missouri AG wants to implement to 1) ban care for trans youth and 2) heavily restrict it for trans adults, and these are the requirements for trans adults. A three year assessment period, 15 years of followups, and none at all if you have autism.

Sadly the alarm bells just keep ringing. The MO emergency rule is setting up a dangerous precedent, especially if it goes before a bench that believe that being trans is inherently fraudulent.

Just want to call attention to a specific language choice: “how quickly to transition children.” The phrasing of “transitioning” as being an action done TO someone, as opposed to an action someone does with agency (“he transitioned,” “I am transitioning”), is intentional.

@donmoyn So I looked up his speech and they changed the wording from "transgenderism" to "transgender people." That different wording has a different meaning and I think the change was purposefully done by Rolling Stone.

I will amend this rant by saying, thank the Lord for @donmoyn who has been vocally pro trans people and rightly pointing out that mf'ers like Michael Knowles and Matt Walsh are here to sew chaos and ruin democracy in addition to calling for the genocide of trans ppl
