Weird.
The city says the tanks are getting full, but my water pressure is even weaker today than it was yesterday.
Am I missing something? This just doesn’t seem to make sense.

@barnfell @Jamunt I don’t care if it’s a person’s first day in office. There are people who are without water and the city knew that this was happening and failed to notify anyone. This is public health and safety emergency that might have been lessened if people had known sooner and had options.

Was @CityRichmondVA boil advisory issued by the utility department, or VDH? Because, I thought VDH was the only agency that could issue boil advisories.

Aside from this, what a slap in the face to local restaurants, our hospitality industry and service workers.
How are they expected to make $$ if these businesses DON’T HAVE WATER?!?!

What about a rebate on our water bills for this cataclysmic failure?

Also, why did it take so long to notify residents and businesses about the boil advisory? It seems to me, the city had ample time to pivot and notify customers.

I have some thoughts:
1) How does a chaos agent, former RPS board member become a voice on affordable housing when she railed against measures to ensure safe/stable housing for our students;
2) Sounds like she’s preparing to run for something else; and
3) Dist. 3 is doomed.
