Whatever mistakes Starmer made over the whole Mandelson business, & clearly there are some big ones, I have no doubt he was seeking to act in the UK's best interests. In that case, I don't think he should leave office over this - Trump acts in his own interests, that's different!

It is becoming more apparent that a main goal of the Trump administration is to destabilize Europe and NATO while supporting Russia. This is a total reversal of previous administrations. The question that needs to be asked and answered is Why.

The outcome of the latest media plot to oust the PM, is they have accidently exposed how woeful procedures were for 14 years while the tories where in power, the fact the media have only just discovered civil servants can veto vetting decisions shows how little they cared.
