Oh my God. Rye hockey wins in overtime. It's Rye vs Byram Hills for a state championship on Sunday in Binghamton. Never can remember two Section 1 teams meeting for a state title. Unbelievable.

@DStarmanHockey YES! I was thinking about this yesterday as well. In Rye, NY we bought into ADM from the start. It took a while for coaches and parents to realize how beneficial it was to growth & development.

A stick tap to the original ADM architects who imagined that this was possible for American hockey on the international stage. To Jim Johansson, who always talked about the day when the US would enter the Men's and Women's WC and Olympics, as well as the U20's, as favorites. 🥂

@HowieRose CAN "Played" better today than USA did for approximately twp periods. That alone does not make them the better team. USA found a way to survive and then win. THAT is the mark of an exceptional team.

I’ve seen lots of comments that Canada was the better team today. Okay, here’s what makes hockey so great. Yes, the Canadians had a territorial edge, and outshot Team USA, but the most dominant position in sports is the hockey goaltender, and Connor Hellebyuck proved that again.
