Good to see the Greens finally backing ‘breaking the link’ - between gas pricing and green energy. And backing equalising capital gains tax with income tax - so that we tax money made with money at the same rate as money made with a pair of hands.
Two policies straight out of my ‘book’ along with green populism which he does so well. And now rent control, hardly anyone talks about this, we have measures for energy poverty and food poverty (and millions suffer them) but nothing for rent poverty despite absurd amounts percentages of income being spent by millions on private rents.
There’s a lot to like in the new Green approach.
