Flying experts: I was upgraded on a 12 hour @united flight to Polaris. I was already in my seat when the flight attendant came over to tell me they needed the seat and I had to move back to premium economy. I didn’t want to hold up the plane and refuse, but wtf?They can do that?

Someone clearly overruled this, but for a few minutes this afternoon, my Netflix home page was this:

to just...LIVE. I've been told over and over by camps and schools that parents want their kids to have phones. Who are these parents? Let children unplug. Can't we all please come together and insist our children have a break during school and camp?!? Rant over. (3/3)

This after a year where schools couldn't figure out how to keep phones out of classrooms. We are so broken as a society if those caring for our children don't see the value of a tech-break to bond with other kids, to give their still-growing brains a break, (2/3)

My tween daughter has been at three different 1-2 week-long sleepaway camps this summer. EVERY SINGLE ONE has allowed the kids to have cell phones - one for several hours a day and the others any time they wanted. (1/3)
