Current plan is to be sign ups! Everyone picks a role they want to do, including writing scenes. My job will be organizing, assembling, and creating the general plot. It'll turn into a small short movie where each scene is voiced and written by different groups with only vague plot points, and then the scenes would be stitched together after. One scene from the next could be vastly different in vibes and atmosphere. :)

I have come up with an incredibly stupid community driven voice acting project thanks to an idea Intern brought up yesterday... It would be silly, it would be fun, it'd still be practice, but it'd come out nonsensical and goofy. An exquisite corpse of types.. Could be super fun?

The folks I'm talking with will be doing closed auditions first for people whose demos they like. Open auditions will come after. The idea is going to be to have a smaller sample size of VAs to look through first, and then for slots yet filled they'll open it up publicly. And there WILL be unfilled spots. Let me make it clear however, having no demo reel will be better than having a rushed or unpolished demo reel. So if you miss the demo/sample drop period, that's better than trying to slap one together quickly in time.

🔊 In audio, “raw” means: as recorded. mic, cable, and interface only, rendered to your DAW. “edits” include: cuts, timing adjustments, fades (10ms-30ms) bookending any cuts, and take selections. It’s not any more complicated than that TLDR; Just record it well- send it as recorded- keep your edits honest- leave a few dB in headroom/don’t clip.
