A movie's ending can make or break it. And thanks in part to John Williams, the ending of Steven Spielberg's Jaws (1975,) has such an adventurously romantic feel to it, that it actually transcends cinema to rank among the greatest of adventure stories, in any medium.

If “Tough Teacher” movies are a spectrum, The Principal (1987) lands dead centre. Jim Belushi & Louis Gossett Jr. crush it in a film that’s everything all at once, violent, funny and weirdly heartfelt. I really like it. And Michael Wright might be cinema’s most evil student.

In Mrs. Doubtfire, Sally Field’s character was just so insufferable that it was insane. The worst ex wife ever. She divorced Robin Williams character simply because he cared about his kids more than she did. He tried to make them happy in every way he could. Never cheated on her.
