Dude… we had 1 bad offensive game against north Alabama and then faced a good ass pitching staff in ole miss and found a way to win. This weekend was a disappointment for sure, but to already turn ur back on the offense after the job they’ve done so far is a little ridiculous

@wpmcgee The university has been kind at its current enrollment for 12+ years. I see no evidence of urgency or a plan to grow or an explanation of a maintain strategy. Having interviewed with IHL once for 45 minutes I saw no evidence of urgency at the governing level either. Big yawn.

It's beyond the admin at this point. McClain was able to fire a MBB coach at Troy then made a great hire with Scott Cross.
There's some kind of generational institutional inertia at both the university and in Hattiesburg that prevents us from doing anything even slightly bold.

SOTW: Cole Grunwald (BSB) and Katelyn Thomas (SB) Cole batted .385 with a double, triple, 2 RBI, 3 SBs and threw 6 innings allowing 1 ER and adding 5 Ks and a W! Katelyn batted .583 over ten games with 4 doubles, a triple, 9 RBI and 3 SBs while being 1.000 in the field as well!
