I’m testing a new technique this time, I’m converting the GaussianSplatting into a “Super Impostor.” I created the converter directly in Godot. In the video, the impostor still has some issues, especially around the silhouette, that I need to fix. But I think this technique could be really useful for mobile or VR games for static objects. Also, I’m planning to make all the GS + Godot techniques I’m developing available on the new Godot Store once it’s out of beta.
