Pope Leo: "I know that in Europe there are many times fears [of Islam] that are present but oftentimes generated by people who are against immigration and trying to keep out people who may be from another country, another religion, another race."

@ryanhammer09 Sports just suck these days. The average fan gets screwed.

This is genuinely disgusting & egregious.
MetLife stadium that is in the MIDDLE OF NOTHING except for its parking lots (!!!)... FIFA is making it $100 to travel on public transit AND illegal to park at the stadium at all.
U.S. & FIFA are ruining the World Cup experience

@marklevinshow As long as they’re saying the opposite of what you’re saying they’re 100% right.

New Jersey’s NJ Transit is currently planning to charge more than $100 for return rail tickets from New York’s Pennsylvania Station to MetLife Stadium for FIFA World Cup games.
According to people familiar with the plans, who asked to remain anonymous in order to protect relationships, a return ticket purchased via NJ Transit, New Jersey’s transportation provider, is currently modelled for more than a seven-fold increase from its usual prices during the World Cup this summer.
The 18-mile rail journey, which includes a stop at Secaucus station, ordinarily costs $12.90 for a return ticket — the same pricing for the FIFA Club World Cup final last summer.
The new special event pricing, however, is due to come into effect for the World Cup and is currently due to be over $100.

In a rare joint interview, three of America’s most influential cardinals, who actively serve archdioceses, share what they’re hearing in their pews.

@Cernovich @douglassmackey The ER, food stamps, government housing, welfare, driving without insurance, free education, and so on.
English

@douglassmackey The Pope uses the subversive tactic of saying the right words while then promoting policies that undermine results. Much like priests say “welcome the stranger,” but never tell the stranger to stop using the ER for free (stolen) healthcare.

The Vatican should always strive to speak this openly and clearly so as not to confuse the laity.
Unfortunately, the pattern we see is that the pope speaks eloquently and with nuance in long speeches, for instance discussing just war, but then goes on X and writes tweets implying that it’s always sinful to bear the sword.

Pope Leo will spend July 4 in Lampedusa, an Italian island in the Mediterranean, where tens of thousands of migrants land on their way to Europe every year. It also marks America's 250th birthday. U.S. cardinals say the visit sends a message. cbsn.ws/4taRe3E

@Cernovich Clearly an agenda at play. If they truly cared about death of the innocent they would be equally as outraged.

@SenMarkKelly If you support abortion sit this one out. I only want to hear from Catholics who adhere to the teachings of Jesus and the Church.

As a Catholic, I find it abhorrent that the President of the United States would publicly attack the Successor of St. Peter. Donald Trump is flailing. His war in Iran has led to the death and injury of American servicemembers and the death of Iranian children. He will attack anyone or anything to try to protect himself, even the Church that millions of Americans find faith and comfort in every day. The American people deserve a president who understands the consequences of his words and takes responsibility for his actions.

English

@60Minutes Heretics and liars. The outrage over the removal of illegal immigrants in this country gets more attention than child mutilation and abortion from the Church. They enabled it for reasons that only lead me to believe they want to destroy this county like they did Europe.
