@JyotiMathad really well said. Protect with research, not from research. FDA should have legal authority to demand clinical or authorize clinical trials of critical drugs submitted or approved & the requisite animal tox repro work. Coupled with a fund to make it happen. Chronic problem

Agreed. But it’s not just a money issue. We have no consensus on how to interpret and respond to the animal repro-tox data. The strong presumption is to exclude pregnant women, who are then left without treatment options. Protect them with research, not from research.
