With how the IWC response to Pat McAfee returning has been, I’m wondering if WWE brought him back just to get Randy Orton some cheap heel heat since fans are still cheering him over WWE’s “golden boy.”

This is the hardcore truth WWE and other wrestling fans dont wanna hear This is TKO..and yes this is the Rock Tney do not care about wrestling They do not care about fans They ONLY care about money, clicks, & viral moments WWE has been on a slow decline in quality since VKM made the mistake of selling to them Everything the WWE has been stripped away slowly Its easy to blame Triple H cuz he's been bad creatively for the past couple of years But something else sinister is going on behind the scenes Ari Emanuel & The Rock wants Triple H gone & has sabotaged him every step of the way The WWE as we knew it is NEVER coming back On days like this, I wonder if WWE wouldve been better off being sold to the Saudis At least they cared about wrestling 😭

@tgqchairman Thank you lol. The chronically online booker saw that it was universally rejected by everyone, panicked, had Cody go out there and cut another promo in another panic move, and then tried to pull the TKO card to save face and fans are eating it up.

I don’t believe this one bit. If HHH inserted McAfee at the request of TKO to appease them, why would he have Cody go out and do this and then leak the intentions to the dirt sheets? This is just a cover up to make it look like HHH was against it as well, but in reality he couldn’t care less. They are putting reports out like this to save face and how the rest of the show was booked last night goes to show this. The booking is horrible and they just don’t care.

🚨🚨🚨🚨 Sources indicate that this was not a call from Triple H or WWE creative but a call straight from Ari Emanuel and TKO brass. McAfee has been expected to return to WWE for quite some time now and his comments about the business passing him by were all kayfabe. Another source indicates that Ari Emanuel believes that McAfee is a star and will help elevate this program between Orton and Rhodes and get it to where it needs to be between his show on ESPN and weekly SmackDown episodes before WrestleMania in 2 weeks. TKO are firm believers that main stream names will help bring more eyes to the product and sell more tickets as they make their return to Las Vegas. (Bodyslam+)

Pat McAfee’s words last night felt like a direct reflection of how Ari Emanuel and the TKO executives view the current state of WWE. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Triple H leaves or even gets released from WWE within the next year or so.

Yes, WWE has a lot of problems at the moment, but people are being way too harsh on Triple H. I believe most of the issues are coming from people in higher places than him, and he's out of options for dealing with it. The toxic fanbase is a major but separate issue.

Those spoken to believe Pat McAfee aligning with Randy Orton was an edict from TKO brass to WWE creative, not an idea that originated in the creative room. The idea was then approved by Triple H. One source believed the edict may have come from as far up as Ari Emanuel. (via PWlnsider)
