I hope when the tables turn, the south west will not cry. How can a whole University be playing Agbado politics?

The ADC is going north. Atiku.
If for any reason that changes and they come south, it’s advantage Rotimi Amaechi.
If Amaechi mistakenly slaps Atiku and they decide to go with someone else, it’s Seyi Makinde.
If Makinde mistakenly punches David Mark in the face, it’s Aregbesola.
If Aregbesola says he doesn’t want, they will go mid and give that former sport minister that dresses like a confra boy. I can’t remember his name.
That said,
the ADC is going north. Atiku.

These folks have so shared my 2012 tweet like a museum exhibit, even though say na digital content, the tweet don fade taya. Lol. Their lifeline is a tweet from a decade and a half ago. And it’s still not landing. Tough times.
But brace yourselves, tougher times are ahead of you. I am your nemesis.
Let me be plain: blocking your messiah online is the least of it. I play this game offline too. Every ADC ally (who wasn’t already irritated by your group) is aligned.
For you lot and your mascot, the math is simple; leave that party or lose the primaries. Pick your L.
I have also ensured that one of the prized assets you want to take away from the party refuses to be used by you. My tweets are the least of my commitment towards ensuring our country doesn’t fall into your hands.
Nigeria cannot afford to fall into the hands of a group of uncivilised Myrmidons.
English

@Omojuwa You claim you don't rate someone or are obsessed with him, yet you wrote a solid 8 paragraphs that sound like a baby throwing a tantrum over a wet diaper, all because of three words?
If this isn't the definition of obsession, tell me what is!
English

You this odallerctual fraud. Kosofe man by bus arrival. Somolu by force by fire.
You see Nigeria by the contours of blood. It’s why a man being asked to account for the contraction of his theories versus practice sounds like Schadenfreude to you.
This is your forte. You celebrate a pothole repaired or a Julius Berger sign in one state with the fervour of a man witnessing the construction of the Lagos rail network. The same you will look at a new airport terminal in Ogun, light rail lines in Lagos, a world class project in your ‘beloved’ Kosofe, an industrial cluster in Kaduna, or a measurable policy gain elsewhere in the country and find, with the discipline of the wilfully blind, nothing to say. Other times, you find something to say that is precisely calibrated to diminish. You’ve been found out, MuFu! Tau.
I don’t rate you. You are unrated. Not applicable. Na. N/A. I don’t even get your obsession with me. You aren’t worthy. I will acknowledge you only as much as this tweet and be done with you like a privileged livestock finally handed its destined end. Never loved!
You are a fake ass, a weakling, a pussy cat who advances hate against his country at every turn whilst finding balance in celebrating the undeniable. You are a disgusting fellow who must be ignored. In this tweet, I choose to treat you like a mosquito, batted away into its denouement so I can focus on the Amadi I at least can vouch for his sense of duty, amidst whatever other contradictions.
You speak in the language of accountability but deploy the vocabulary of unequal standards. Your standards are elastic, conveniently stretching or contracting depending on whose name sits above the achievement or where it is.
You better hold this note as my universal response to whatever you say today or do in the future. Frame it. After this, I will return to treating your existence like the nonevent it is.
You aren’t worth more than this, both in the content and the fact you don’t deserve another response. Sub-king of the Obidients, the quarter-eyed one amidst the visually impaired.
See this as my sole contribution to your Elon farming salary. Add it to the stipends Chife supports you with. On that note, you now are no longer real to me, you don’t exist, so poof, vamoose…

I saw the response of one Paul Ibe, one of the Media Aides to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, to my release on what transpired at his (Atiku) meeting in Minna, with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, and I can't but be amused.
However, because of my respect for Atiku, I will want to assume that he did not authorise the press statement and I will expect that after seeing it, he will within 48 hours, cause a rebuttal to be issued on it.
Should Atiku not publicly disown the statement within the next 48 hours, I will have no option but to spill more beans (the facilitors and executioners) of the Minna meeting, particularly what was said about Wike) and by then, I will be doing so without any atom of respect for him.
Till then, we keep our gunpowder dry.

Between Atiku and Makinde, Untold Story of What Happened in Minna Yesterday
It is no longer news that the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, went to Minna, Niger State, yesterday to hold a meeting with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Here is what happened behind the curtains.
Venue and personalities involved in the meeting was carefully chosen so as to ensure confidence and acceptability.
Consideration was given to the fact that Peter Obi will not accept to be Atiku's running mate and he won't also be acceptable to the North, as Atiku's successor.
Also, Atiku is 70% certain of getting the ADC ticket, having ensured the non-zoning of the party’s presidential ticket.
Makinde agreed to join ADC on the condition that he will be handed the party’s Vice Presidential ticket, as Atiku's running mate. This is expected to be presented to Atiku’s inner caucus for further discussions and ratification.
Makinde offered to make available a sum of N10bn (to be released in two tranches), as his initial contribution towards what he called "proper take-off of the ADC," and make additional funds available when campaign begins.
The Governor also assured that for the ADC primary, he will deliver the Southwest delegates and use the influence of wife, who is from Rivers State to secure delegate votes in the South-South.
He posited that for the general election, using him to divide the Southwest votes will give the ADC the needed advantage.
Follow up meeting has been fixed for Dubai, UAE within the next two weeks.

Makinde Turning Emergency Opposition Mouthpiece Because President Tinubu Rejected Him
That Seyi Makinde's derogatory comment against President Tinubu at Osinbajo's birthday further confirmed that he got a cold shoulder from the President during his last visit to the Villa.
Like I made public, in his attempt to do a damage control on his public speech against the President, Makinde met the shock of his political life when he visited Asiwaju last week.
It is now obvious that after getting that cold shoulder from thePresident, Makinde must have realized that end of road has come in terms of reconciliation between him and the President. This is moreso that the Asiwaju made it clear that as far as Oyo State is concerned, he will support his party’s candidates in 2027.
The emergency opposition mouthpiece Makinde is trying albeit unsuccessfully to turn himself to is an aftermath the response he got from the President last week, which I made public.
Furthermore, it has vindicated me because if Makinde had gotten a soft-landing that he expected from the President, he (Makinde) wouldn't have gone to make that statement, condemning the Government of President Tinubu, by calling the President a dictator while praising the Buhari's administration.
With this assurances too, the APC in Oyo State should now wake up and slug it out with Makinde's candidate, which he will field under the ADC, knowing full well that PDP won't be open for him to use.

I have always admired Engr. Mohammed Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso from a distance, but he appears to have boxed himself into one of the tightest corner in his political career simply because of his refusal/indecision to take the Olive Branch that was offered him by APC much earlier. Let’s break down his predicament:
1. FACT NO. 1 - Kwankwaso wants to be President, but none of the major political parties will pick him as a candidate in 2027. APC & PDP are going South & ADC’s ticket is Atiku’s to lose. Atiku is the owner of ADC (argue with your keypad, if you like). Only a major political Party can win a Presidential election in Nigeria. NNPP is still a one-State Party and with the recent wave of defections from NNPP (including the Governor himself), it is doubtful if it can maintain its grip on Kano in 2027. A leader is only as strong as his devoted lieutenants.
2. FACT NO. 2 - Kwankwaso WILL NOT support a Northern candidate because that ends his own Presidential ambition since he MAY have to wait for another 16 years after 2027 to get a shot at the Presidency - 8 likely years for the Northern Candidate and another 8 likely years when it rotates to the South again. That’s a gamble he WILL NOT TAKE. He will be 86 years old by then. So, this entirely rules out an ATIKU-Kwankwaso cooperation in 2027
3. FACT NO. 3 - Based on the above calculations, the only pathway for Kwankwaso is in 2031, but the alliance he builds in 2027 will be crucial to his ambitions in 2031. If his grip on Kano slips in 2027, it will water down his clout and influence in 2031 to be handed a Presidential ticket by any of the major Political parties. This is the time he can cash in on his presumed dominance of Kano politics and take a chance.
4. FACT 4: Kwankwaso’s only chance of a realistic alliance now with a major political Party is actually narrowed down to the PDP, the APC or the Labour Party (only if Peter Obi returns there and picks the 2027 Presidential ticket and he agrees to run as VP candidate to Obi). But all three options present their own challenges:
(a) with the PDP now gasping for breath, it may be easier for Kwankwaso to return to PDP on some terms (like taking over the entire structure in Kano and some North West States and returning Kano to PDP). And that will signal the death of NNPP. But with the zoning of the Presidential ticket to the South, that would mean a suspension of his 2027 Presidential ambition till 2031.
(b) If Kwankwaso decides to pitch tent with the APC, he is in no position to dictate so much terms to the Party. With the exodus of key figures from NNPP to APC in Kano, the APC’s structure in Kano is now in better stead to challenge the NNPP in 2027. The APC is therefore not so desperate for a Kwankwaso in Kano, but would be glad to welcome him into the Party. He still remains an asset. But one thing is sure: the APC cannot throw its entire structure in Kano under the bus for a Kwankwaso, especially with the Governor parting ways with him. However, the attraction of the APC for him is that the APC still has the national spread and structures to retain power in 2031. So, an APC option for Kwankwaso will also mean a suspension of his Presidential ambition till 2031.
(c) the 2027 Labour Party option for Kwankwaso is narrower because he simply cannot and will not run as Vice-Presidential candidate to Peter Obi. Take that to the bank. His own people will not even support him to give a likely fresh 8 years to the South (forget all the noise of ‘I will serve just one term).
FACT 5: From the scenarios above, Kwankwaso is in a very difficult political crossroads . The decision he makes now may retire him permanently from politics or revive his Presidential ambition. But one fact is clear: just like late Buhari and the CPC, without a handshake with another major Party, he will remain a local champion with his NNPP, but that too may soon vanish with the present predicament of the Party in Kano.

Untold story of what happened in the Villa during Governor Makinde's Visit to the President today
Here is the true story of what happened in the Villa when Governor Seyi Makinde visited the President today.
First, Governor Seyi Makinde demonstrated that he now lacked enough courage to face the President alone, he had to enlist the support of the Plateau State Governor.
The President told him that if it was about official matters regarding Oyo State, he will listen to him.
But if it had to with politics and any claim that it was Wike that angered him to go on TV to accuse him (President) of plotting to turn the country to a one party state, it is better to as usual, go on TV to say all he (Makinde) had to say.
He was told pointedly that he can't come to the closet on political matters to eat his words, while saying another thing to the public.
Furthermore, the President told Governor Makinde that he was not expecting any support from him regarding 2027, and that he should also expect that he (President) will support his party.
Lastly, the President made it clear to Makinde that Wike is someone whose support and consistency he (President) can't deny or wished away. Therefore, if Makinde has issues with Wike, that is between the two of them, I should be left out of it.
That's why Makinde told the press that he's comfortable in PDP. It's because of the reality that there's nothing for him in APC.
And after this meeting, shouldn't Makinde tell the people of Oyo State if he has returned the N30bn he admitted to have received from the Federal Government as intervention fund for the January 2023 Ibadan explosion?

Nigerian Trumpers will parrot this, without thinking - while seeking freelancer jobs around the World.
(They don't know "Globalization" is what made those freelancer jobs possible).

Globalization has FAILED. Secretary Lutnick at the World Economic Forum: “The Trump Administration and I are here to make a very clear point—globalization has failed the West and the United States of America. It’s a failed policy… and it has left America behind.” America is done exporting jobs and offshoring its future. We will no longer give in to globalization.

@joshibza @muhammadpate Even the reduction in medical tourism can be attributed to the increased cost to do so after the massive devaluation of the currency
English

While these numbers are presented with pride, we must remember they are not abstract metrics, but human experiences. A fourfold increase in hospital visits speaks less of celebration and more of a desperate population, long deprived of basic care, finally seeking help. Reducing medical tourism is commendable, but for the average Nigerian, the true measure of success is not fewer elites traveling abroad, but their own ability to access quality care in Ajegunle or Birnin Kebbi without financial ruin.
Paying acknowledged arrears and negotiating allowances are not acts of extraordinary benevolence; they are the basic fulfillment of long-broken contracts. Calling the dedicated doctors who advocate for these very things a "small segment" causing "disruption" is a regrettable framing. They are often the canaries in the coal mine, highlighting systemic cracks.
True confidence will be built not by dismissing dissent, but by proving that the "unprecedented progress" translates to a well-stocked pharmacy, a functioning ventilator, and a motivated health worker in every community clinic. The foundation is being laid, Minister, but the people await the complete house.
English

Fellow Nigerians and friends from around the world, good day to you all.
For decades, dedicated professionals in Nigeria’s health sector have risen early and returned home late, serving their fellow citizens with commitment and resilience, often in difficult conditions and with limited recognition.
Under the compassionate leadership of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT, we acknowledge that successive governments did not always provide the enabling environment for our best talents to thrive. Longstanding commitments were poorly implemented, leading to dissatisfaction among health workers, particularly members of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), the Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU), and the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives.
This reality informed our deliberate approach over the past two and a half years, during which we proactively cultivated industrial harmony through constructive engagement with stakeholders, addressing both legacy and current challenges directly.
Despite recent disruptions by a small segment of health workers, notably resident doctors, the overwhelming majority of Nigeria’s capable health workforce have continued to report for duty, serving our people with dedication, care, and innovation.
While not all legacy challenges have been conclusively resolved, unprecedented progress has been achieved under President Tinubu’s leadership. Through transparent negotiations, the retirement age for clinically skilled health workers has been increased from 60 to 65 years. Outstanding arrears from 2023 to date have been paid, while the new hazard allowance is being processed.
Over ₦10 billion owed under the 2025 Medical Residency Training Fund has been fully paid. Salary relativity adjustments under CONHESS for health workers and CONMESS for doctors are being assured and institutionalized by the federal government.
All other major and longstanding demands of the three main health sector union blocs are being addressed through Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations, statutorily convened by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. This process, involving union leadership and relevant government officials, is well underway, and we remain committed to concluding it to the satisfaction of health workers and the citizens they serve.
Despite minor industrial distractions by a very small minority, with over 90% of demands already met, Nigerians continue to express confidence in the health workforce, and the data confirms this.
In the second quarter of 2024, Nigeria recorded an average of 10 million hospital visits across all levels of care. By the second quarter of 2025, this rose to nearly 40 million visits in a single quarter, representing almost a fourfold increase.
The Central Bank of Nigeria has reported a 52% reduction in foreign exchange accessed for external medical tourism since President Tinubu assumed office in 2023. At the same time, facilities nationwide are witnessing increased patronage by foreigners choosing to receive care in Nigeria.
Medical tourism is steadily being reversed, while citizen perception surveys from 2023 to 2025 show rising confidence in the health system. Overall system confidence stands at 55%, confidence in the government’s ability to manage health emergencies at 67%, and patient satisfaction at 74%.
As we continue building systems that serve all Nigerians regardless of status or income, we are healing a once-fractured ecosystem and restoring public trust. The progress of our health sector reflects what is possible for Nigeria: turning crisis into opportunity, transforming liabilities into assets, and placing every Nigerian at the center of our national renewal.
Thank you, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

@muhammadpate "Small minority"!How can it be a small minority when JOHESU has been on strike since Nov 14. Why can't the Minister give info on the number of visits for the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2025! 😊
The govt should be sincere and address JOHESU demands. HM hasn't lived up to expectation.
