@xzernias_ Japanese execs still view anime as a commercial for Manga, so when the manga ends a lot of series either get dropped or they rush the endings to get them over with. Even shows with enormous pull like Kaguya sama and Fire Force get this treatment sometimes cause of dumbass execs.

The biggest mistake with Fire Force isn’t the animation or story, it’s the lack of brand execution. We have a season currently airing, skyrocketing demand, & a Soul Eater connection yet no merch push or major collabs… This entire franchise deserves so much better
