@TheRooster Arc is just more easily accessible I think. Also streamers and content creators made Arc blow up way harder than any one expected.
Marathon is almost the opposite. The biggest content creator I’ve seen is shroud playing it consistently. it’s just a more hard core experience too

Forcing people to bring their best equipment to run a map where there is no guaranteed exit but guaranteed high value loot really is such brilliant design and feels like a throwback to when games didn’t hold your hand by making you solve challenges on the fly, against a timer, against other teams of people, against cracked AI, in a labyrinth filled with traps

We have seen some reports asking if the final exfil in Cryo Archive is not working because it does not show on the overhead map. Cryo Archive is the most dangerous place in Marathon, escape is not guaranteed. You will need to interact with the ship's systems before the timer runs out to make sure you can get off the ship alive. There is a final exfil but it's only a true last resort, not a reliable way off the ship. It is more elusive than typical final exfils on other less difficult zones, leading to more risk if players choose to take this option. It is hidden from the map and only gives you 60 seconds to find it.

@ARCRaidersNews Nah. The flare popping off is perfect. The trail for dead runners is nice for locating them after downing though

@MarathonGameHQ As soon as you start learning the game and you progress, the game starts to engage interest and get extremely fun. But if someone dropped it after 2-5 runs, they won’t get it at all.
I’m extremely hyped for this game. I can’t wait to see what bungie brings us this year!
