@Tortoisehead @RayMairead E-bikes. Complete different thing. I‘m toad and gravel cyclist and i‘m aware of the speed i put in and in full control. I was myself hit by an e-bike frontal and he was on the wrong lane. Only thing i could do qas breaking. E-bikers are not aware of their speed.

@Tortoisehead @RayMairead Maybe they‘re afraid of reckless car drivers. From what i‘ve learned, most accidents happens when the cyclist is on his lane and has been overseen accidentally by car drivers. I ride about 30-50kph in areas where its allowed or appropriate , that would be reckless on a sidewalk.

@KukeeMc @RayMairead This could be seen as careless cycling. Clearly cycling in tandem with no awareness of the vehicles behind them. You can even see they are busy chatting together ignoring the obstruction he is causing. He is deliberately avoiding using cycle lane.
