@22sken @StevenMcinerney even when foden was playing 8 he had most km ran of any player in the PL, they know how to look busy (bernardo has been fantastic OOP in the run in) i think Enzo’s on ball will be a much bigger benefit than losing bernardo’s off ball especially in terms of progression

What do we all think of this then? Obviously his form has dipped loads recently, but there was a point where he was undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the league.

@22sken @StevenMcinerney idk if you saw how shit bernardo was for the first half/more of the season but he was genuinely a negative on the pitch he knows how to run around and make it look like he’s doing something, he has been amazing but we’re in this position bc he was ass on the ball and fake busy
