Orbiter Finance🛸 just confirmed airdrop this year - I found a cheap way to farm O-Points, Linea, zkSync, and Scroll altogether that no one is talking about 👇
————
1. Background:
Last week, @Orbiter_Finance confirmed airdrop in 2024, citing their O-Points system will play an important role in its eligibility. Meanwhile, they revealed the completion of Series A financing last year led by @OKX_Ventures. While the amount was undisclosed, judging from Orbiter Finance's leading position in the cross-chain cross-rollup bridge market and its investor panel, I am guessing no less than 8 digits.
The cross-chain bridge market since its early days with @StargateFinance @Orbiter_Finance has seen greater competition from cheaper providers last year like @Owlto_Finance @layerswap etc. To me, with the airdrop incentive I would still prioritize Orbiter Finance over the others, at least for now.

2. The Way to Farm O-Points That No One Talks About:
I found that Orbiter Finance has built an ecosystem dApp @Layer2_20, labeled as ETH's first omni-chain inscription called $L2.
- Total supply is 10B
- 1k per inscription/txn
- Cost 0.00023ETH/txn (~$0.05)
- Fair launch
- 30% minted currently, selling out at ~3% progress/day
While I agree the total supply is too much, the real value is not in the inscription itself - it is that you get 5 O-Points per inscription. Unless you have a large pool of funds to begin with for cross-chain bridging, this cost of 0.00023ETH is 82% cheaper than any L2s' bridging cost of 0.0013ETH!
In addition, you can kill 4 birds with 1 stone here. @Layer2_20 enables omni-chain inscriptions, meaning you can inscribe via @LineaBuild @zksync and @Scroll_ZKP. For me, I simply go inscribe once every few days across Linea/zkSync/Scroll so my address gets more txn records. It's cheap and time-saving.
At the end of the day, this is a win-win strategy. The slower it sells out, the longer we can continue killing 4 birds with 1 stone; the faster it sells out, we can wait for the official launch of the secondary market to trade our inscriptions. There is not much at risk here except the $0.05 cost per txn.
