@OliLondonTV I have sympathy for the Palestinians. I have hatred and loathing for Hamas. They are an evil cancer who need to be executed at the first chance. They have set back the cause of the Palestinians 1000 years. There can never be peace now. Never. The Palestinians are fucked.

Nova Festival survivor describes Hamas’ horrific violence against woman: “I saw this beautiful woman with the face of an angel and eight or ten of the fighters beating and raping her. When they finished they were laughing and the last one shot her in the head.” Yoni Saadon, 39 described the attack and revealed he only survived the massacre by having to pretend to be dead and smearing himself in the blood of one of the victims. “She fell to the ground, shot in the head, and I pulled her body over me and smeared her blood on me so it would look as if I was dead too.” “I will never forget her face. Every night I wake to it and apologise to her, saying 'I'm sorry.” 364 people lost their lives at the music festival on Oct 7th. Source: Sunday Times/ Daily Mail

Foo Fighters played Melbourne last night. I had spectacular tickets at the front. But I was too sick to go. I would never have made it up those stairs. So I gave the tickets to someone who would never have spent that money on himself. His kids come first. Gig of a lifetime

@antiquestwins I bought a massive solid mahogany coffee table. It was 130cm square. Solid , not veneer. Very, very heavy and only one scratch on it (fixed). Cost me $140 plus $100 delivery at an auction. I also picked up an ornately carved walnut table with 14 chairs

@TexasPratt @GeorgeTakei There was absolutely zero chance of the Japanese invading mainland USA ZERO! They didn't have the industrial might of the USA. They didn't have even close the the logistics to invade

Replying to George Takei I am a WWII 100 year old Veteran.i was very connected to the reason Japanese were interned for 2 or 3 years at most Intelligence we w received at Inspector General Level told us there was a possibility that Japan would invade California. Knowing there were a lot of Japanese Nationals in the western part of us, at the time that made sense to know where the Japanese were 15 Million people served to save this country, many thousands came home in caskets. Most Americans suffered for 4 years defending our country. Today you may question the decision, however, at the time the Country was in shock, and had to do everything they could to defend from two major powers. At the end the U S made both countries better off. Always there are two sides of most stories.

When I was a little boy, the Japanese military attacked Pearl Harbor. It was a surprise attack, and thousands of U.S. servicemembers perished. As a nation, we were stunned. And we vowed to strike back. Revenge was understandably on everyone’s mind, including many Americans of Japanese descent who opposed the emperor and were peaceful and law-abiding U.S. citizens and residents. In its zeal to exact that revenge, however, the U.S. government overreacted, out of fear and bigotry. They targeted everyone who happened to look like the people who had carried out the attack. Those of us who had done nothing wrong were forced to pay the consequences for the decisions of others far away and disconnected from us. We were interned for years, in open-air prisons, while America went off to fight Japan, Germany and Italy. It’s so important that we carry the lessons of the past through to today. Merely because one group commits atrocities and acts with depravity does not mean vast hundreds of thousands or even millions of others should be lumped together with them and made to suffer. We must never paint with the brush of justice and retaliation too broadly, or the toll of human suffering will rise immeasurably.

Guy at Trump’s speech yesterday is complaining that socialist policies of Democrats are ruining America. He says he just had to buy a new truck because he hit a deer, but thank God his medical expenses are being paid by the government and he also has his VA benefits.

@WalshFreedom I hate it when the right-wingers, the conservatives get into power. So I do what I do and campaign against them and try and win the next election. If they've won this election then they're in power. No ifs or buts. Our turn will come

Got into a bit of an argument over the wkend with a family member who still doesn’t understand why I turned against Trump. I told him bcuz Trump is anti-democracy. How, he asked? I gave him one example. I asked him if it’s possible to have a democracy without ALL of us accepting the results of elections. He said no. I said that’s what Trump tried to destroy in 2020. Trump tried to destroy that mutual pledge we’ve always made that, win or lose, we ALL accept the will of the people every 2yrs. Trump tried to destroy that, and he’ll try again. He’s anti-democracy. My family member began to understand.

@autcareandshare @littlemore20 Not even comparable to your position but this is how we introduce our little girl to new foods. It has to be *her* choice. If we try to force her (waves to granma) then it's tears and she'll never touch that food again. But using this approach I can safely brag a non-fussy eater

For many years Ryan only ate one Food and that was a lunchable, had to be the name same brand not the supermarket own one, one way that I helped him to try different foods was to put different foods on the table( not on his plate ) another way was to go to local farmers markets trying the free samples, just walking around at first,he'd get used to seeing them, smelling them, then eventually he'd try different sausages and cheeses hams and breads , it took time , it took years, he's now open to trying new foods , when we were on holiday in Portugal recently, we shopped in a local Market,Ryan tried the different foods before buying, he chose everything that's in this photo , has to be his choice and when he's ready.

One of the best things about turning into an old biddy is discovering new bands - am watching Reading (which I first went to in 1991) and holy shit Nothing but Thieves are amazing. This is a brilliant set.

@ReallyAmerican1 Giuliani took credit for a lot the search and rescue attempt on 9/11. Most of it is untrue. He happened to be the Mayor at the time and he took credit for what everyone around him did. He was too busy getting in every major newscast lying about what he did.

America's Indicted, Disgraced Mayor: On his was to being booked, fingerprinted and photographed for his mugshot, disgraced former New York Mayor and convicted felon to be Rudy Giuliani was overheard complaining about consequences he brought onto himself: "They're destroying my right to be a lawyer." No, Rudy. "They" didn't do anything to you. They didn't force you to align yourself with the kind of person you used to put behind bars early in your career as a prosecutor. They didn't force you to participate in an illegal plot to keep your former boss in office in defiance of the voters' will. They didn't force you to spread vicious lies about Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, disrupting their personal lives and subjecting them to vicious harassment. No, Rudy. They're not destroying your right to be a lawyer. You did that all by yourself. How will you feel if he is sentenced to jail time?

This is the final photograph of Phillip Herron 34, crying in his car, literally minutes before taking his own life. He was a single Dad with three kids, struggling with crushing debt of over $20,000 and was desperately waiting for a Payday loan he'd applied for. But it was paid in arrears, with a 5 week wait time. That wait drove him even deeper into debt, and when he died he had $4.61 in his bank account and clearly couldn't see any other way out. Like a lot of people, especially men, he kept all of this to himself, nobody else knew how bad things were getting. This poor man even had to tell his children that Santa Claus wouldn’t come this year, and in his suicide note he wrote that they'd be better off if he wasn't around any more. And now he isn't. We need to talk more. We need to be kinder. And we need to be a country that helps each other when we need it the most. RIP ❤️

@RadioFreeTom In the IT world this is very true. Some simple problems can be solved by Dr Google. But, you can turn a simple problem - a 60 second fix - into a company wide disaster that can cost millions. There's a very good reason we don't let lusers have admin rights.
