Women are inherently insecure creatures. They want to be the attractive ones in their relationship. If a man is in a really good shape, it puts more pressure on those. That’s why women are comfortable with a guy with a dead body, because then they are the attractive one, and it doesn’t put as much pressure on them to be in perfect shape. Exactly why women like taller men, because it makes them feel small and feminine. So in reality, it’s not the objectivity of what’s valuable, it’s how it makes them feel about themselves. At least this is my deduction, personally.
