everyone should have to pass a basic cognitive ability and reading comprehension exam before getting write access on the internet

@Liam856144 Gemini CLI is one of the most delayed "agents" at the moment, its slowness to launch (issue they already know), and lack of UX is very bad.

@LinuDev Gemini CLI free tier, and pro tier is still useful for JSON responses - NotebookLM usage is useful, Gemini itself - nuked.

Google has completely lost its mind. They no longer know how to ship quality products. Especially AI tools. Divided teams, zero clue how to keep users happy, and pricing so confusing it feels like a prank. This is a disaster. 🧵

@Liam856144 It definitely has great tools, but I don't feel like using them anymore. I keep asking myself, when are they going to cut them out (Stitch, NotebookLLM)?

@LinuDev Agree google plans have downsized massively since that tweet, there is still value there outside of the prompts but they should revert back to what they had because it was very useful before.

Google is terrible at keeping users. The Gemini CLI / Antigravity experience is one of the worst in AI right now. Way better to just use Anthropic, Cursor, or Opencode (Zen/Go/Black). Google is actively pushing developers away.
