Extremely honored and deeply grateful to have served as a volunteer during Hajj season 1447H with the medical emergency team as part of the @SrcaVolunteer, while proudly representing my lovely university, @Alfaisaluniv. These past 10 days have been among the most meaningful and unforgettable days of my life. Serving the guests of Allah during one of the holiest seasons imaginable was a privilege beyond words. This experience changed me both personally and spiritually. Throughout almost every single one of my shifts, I had the honor of serving as team leader. That responsibility taught me so much about patience, leadership, teamwork, compassion, and staying calm under pressure. Every emergency, every exhausted step, and every sincere prayer from a pilgrim reminded me why this field is so special. One moment I will never forget was witnessing my first ever CPR case. Seeing the medical team respond with such urgency, professionalism, and teamwork during such a critical moment was incredibly emotional and reminded me exactly why I chose medicine. What touched me the most was realizing that some pilgrims spend their entire lives saving and praying for the chance to experience Hajj just once. Knowing that even the smallest thing I did could help make their journey safer is a feeling words cannot describe. Being away from my family for 10 days — the longest I’ve ever been away from them — was not easy at all. I missed home deeply, but the reward and fulfillment I felt throughout this experience were unmatched. I am beyond thankful for every person I worked alongside in the SRCA medical team, every lesson learned, and every memory made during this blessed season. And now… I truly cannot wait to reunite with my family again after these long days away 🤍 @AkefObeidat @BaraaAlghalyini @emig_au
