I have never seen such a great use case for Livewire before.

Rumor: VW CEO Blume About To Fire Next Week the entire Cariad Management According to a report by "Business Insider", Volkswagen Group CEO Blume wants to remove the entire management of the software subsidiary Cariad, which is struggling with problems. The top managers have already been informed by Blume about their imminent dismissal. The supervisory board is to decide on this after the VW annual general meeting next Wednesday in Berlin. VW speaker: "we are currently analyzing the situation of Cariad and the projects very closely" Regarding the future of the software unit, it was said that it had always been emphasized that Cariad would be retained: "For the Volkswagen Group, the expansion of our software competence is and remains an important component for the attractiveness of our products." The massive problems VW has in China and other countries with sales crystallize in poor software that can't keep up with the competition. Tesla in particular has set a high standard that Chinese manufacturers cover better than established manufacturers can. VW has had to accept various postponements of vehicles, especially with the Porsche Macan BEV but also other BEV models, and the weakness, issues and delays of Cariad was one of the main reasons why Blume was able to exert pressure on the former CEO Herbert Diess through the supervisory board until he was fired. It was never a good idea to start with believing that 10,000 people in a software group like Cariad are needed for a solution than an order of magnitude smaller team can solve better and faster. In addition VW has never hired real SW DNA in house an if they didn't allow them to get any influence and power. If the rumors reported by Business Insider are confirmed, this means that Cariad still has a massive problem they can't fix and thus also the new CEO Blume.

I must say, the first answer was impressing me, but then it seems like it was busier trying to find excuses and trying to confuse me more than actually solving the problem 😂

Oh, I figured out that the AI expected me to ask it nicely to actually print the code in the chat :D Then it performed... but sadly, it looks like I checkmated it. 😅

I don't use GitHub Copilot, so I cannot say if it performs equally bad, but the code I had it generate using the StarCoder chat is not overly impressive:

In defense of the AI, it does generate a class if I don't ask to use PHP - the model is fine tuned for Python. Still, the generated code does not really look complete either...🤷♂️I think I'll rather keep coding things myself for now. 😅
