@DigBar24617 @_fentmaster i can't tell you exactly but it's a country in the balkans. the cheapest v1 i could find is 170€. anything cheaper is either for parts only or it's missing joycons and badly damaged. if i go out of the country i'll look for better deals.

@M0jso @_fentmaster ig ur right, where r u exactly from?? im also from eastern europe and the prices are much lower, maybe u can try searching on different websites, also sometimes it just takes a lot of time to get a good deal, but ive seen v1s for like around $90

rendering is still pretty broken and the game crashes before real gameplay

@DigBar24617 @_fentmaster looks interesting but still requires me to get my hands on a switch v1 which goes for about 200€ here. i'll just get other people to test the game on real hardware.

@yoshicrystal just native vulkan. i'm using win32_40 shaders converted to spir-v using dxbc-spirv.

@M0jso nice, are you using nvn or dxvk for the graphics?

@adrien_asg @0_vues it'll probably happen after switch and android are stable and i install macos on my pc. either way macos can already play using wine so ios will be the main priority in terms of apple platforms.

@_fentmaster because i don't have a switch. i would much rather test the game on real hardware but i'm not gonna spend 200€ for a modded switch or 1000€ for a devkit.

@LiamTor38678968 potentially if i don't get wiped out by take 2 before i finish the port. i'm also planning on an android port. i already have the game compiling for android but i don't have a vulkan 1.3 compliant phone that also supports BC/DXT texture compression.

@rehab999777 @megakarlach it would but i don't have the switch 2 sdk and a devkit. doesn't help that homebrew and emulators aren't developed like the switch so how would i even distribute it if i port it to the switch 2.

@megakarlach @M0jso That would be great for optimization. I think the Switch 2 would handle the full port with no issues

@OfficerofOrder @vo1dendwastaken @edgrdfw it's a native port. not even using dxvk like superstar south, i made my own rhi similar to rdr2's sga. currently only working on the vulkan backend since it covers most platforms (switch, android and apple through moltenvk)

@vo1dendwastaken @M0jso @edgrdfw Probably some version of wine + legacy GTA 5, If the version of wine that is used becomes nodded entirely in it's own right and properly optimised to the last few lines of code it could easily run at least 30 frames, maybe 60.

@0_vues yes, i have the game building on android too but i've been focusing on the switch and don't have an android phone which supports vulkan 1.3. ios and macos (apple sillicon) might also happen but i would have to get a mac for development

@edgrdfw this is running on the switch. i don't have a jailbroken switch or an edev to test the game on real hardware so ryubing will have to do for now.
