@kawaiikurwa i really like how they named heroes in dota, silencer = silences heroes, antimage = kills mages, doom = literally kills you by just pressing R and dont forget, sniper. ofcourse theres heroes like lina, leshrac, pango, but its just very cool to just KNOW what they do mostly

dota has a hero named silencer his ult silences everything on the map and all his voicelines are about silence. 50% of the heroes in this game are like this

Sony is going all in on digital right at the moment when a combination of AI and emulation is going to render their walled gardens and infinity remakes completely irrelevant. Why does anyone need a PS5 or PS6 to play a 4K remaster of games released a decade ago, when AI is decompiling the games as we speak and you can play them for free on PC with no strings attached? Sony ought to be careful what they wish for - Sony's Playstation brand has committed itself to fighting in a digital marketplace where it has effectively no advantage. Physical and collectors' editions were a huge anchor to the brand. An all-digital Playstation is just a bad PC and Steam with 50 extra steps.

@DoomsdayAtm @LostElysium13 mostly even by the end you can kind of float around and hide behind random shit though, maybe control is easier for me because im on mouse and keyboard? i always felt like the movement makes the game a bit easy the last boss of the dlc is annoying though

@edgrdfw @LostElysium13 Patience just got me killed much more frequently because the game wants me to move constantly. I could manage on smaller fights but toward the end of the game and during most of the boss fights it was all about movement

Your first move after 5 years being a jumping roundhouse kick despite 2 ACL tears and a titanium rod in your shin is incredible

@DoomsdayAtm @LostElysium13 patience, i play the game slowly, take cover throw projectiles once or twice, then they should be able to be hit reliably a few times

@edgrdfw @LostElysium13 How do you deal with them? They dodge 3/4 projectiles and the machine gun is hard to aim on the fly.

@edgrdfw @LostElysium13 Flares and flashbangs work pretty well and the window on the taken regenerating their darkness shield is pretty generous, especially in American Nightmare and 2. Those flying Hiss and the invisible harpy ones suck so much ass, I hate them

@DoomsdayAtm @LostElysium13 i dont believe so, the taken needs constant management with the flashlight and whatnot, with control i can chuck random furniture at them or maybe i just suck at alan wake idk

@edgrdfw @LostElysium13 That's wild to me because Control is a lot harder than Alan Wake, Jesse is so much more fragile and The Hiss are fucking bastards compared to the Taken.

@DoomsdayAtm @LostElysium13 i tried the game multiple times, no dice. i hated the first alan wake so much i didnt even bother with alan wake 2. like its crazy because i really wanted to like alan wake, the story is very interesting. i LOVED control though, cant wait to see what control 2 brings

@edgrdfw @LostElysium13 I hated it on release but I revisited it a few months ago to play through the whole Remedy Alan Wake/Control ouevre and I locked into it as a horror game. That first DLC can go straight to fucking Hell though.

@ArdentVision1 everyone hated shadows, i bought it anyway, since honestly? i already know what the game is going to be like, a fun stealth experience, and thats more than enough sometimes

Say what you want about Ubisoft and Assassins Creed. Sure, the formula has been used and abused at this point but theres something cozy about knowing exactly what you are going to get from a video game. Its not deep, its not complex, its just plain fun.
