I haven’t really done an introductory post since coming on here, so here it goes. Age: 30 Occupation: Outside Sales Industry: Shipping & Logistics Kids: 2 Daughters (Help) Partner: With for 10 years Hobbies: Golf, Running, Boxing Interests: Investing, Finance, Tech, Shipping, Personal Development Desired retirement age: 50 Desired net worth at 50: £2m + If anyone’s like me and recently turned 30 it’s made me really focus on what I want to achieve over the next 10 years. Career progression is a key one for me and going all-in on communication, all the winners I’ve met in the corporate ladder communicate extremely well. Investment wise I plan to keep growing the pension pots, I’m doing 15% of my salary every month which is around £650 at work into a tech mutual fund and have a SIPP with around £65k in stocks and cash ready if we do have a pullback. I’ve never had an ISA before but opened one in April, I’m doing a small £100-200 a month into this to build a bridge pot which I’m hoping will cover expenses when I reach my retirement age of 50, as I can’t get my pension pots until I’m 57. Been a pleasure getting to know a few of you and I look forward to following along your progress.

Copper exposure is for the future. Even when miners look to meet the demand, there are structural issues to increasing production.

New Model 3 is insanely efficient. Across the entire country, we averaged just 248wh/mi (over 4mi/kWh) even with severe rain, cold weather, high winds and occasional 80mph+ speeds. Better efficiency = longer range, cheaper to drive and run.

The reason for $KEEL selloff is simple: 1. Earnings miss headline 2. No lease signed However, what people miss is: 1. Moses Lake has secured ALL long lead time items, with potential MW expansion 2. Lease negotiations is occurring simultaneously with permit approvals 3. Mosses Lake, Panther Creek and Sharon are ALL expected to have a lease signed in 2026 (around summer) Short term pain, but the thesis is intact.

$IREN announced plans to offer $2B of convertible senior notes due 2033 with an option for another $300M. The capital will help fund AI infrastructure expansion.
